Rocky Mountain National Park Never Disappoints

Driving up the highest highway in the Lower 48 never gets old. The pine trees whip past in a blur as I focus on the jagged peaks ahead. Sign me up for golden hour every day of the week! It's seriously a dream every time, but my dream doesn't stop there. Jessica and Stephan's igniting love could flutter anyone's butterflies.

Their engagement session on Trail Ridge Road wasn't your typical, posed affair. This was an adventure of two souls. I swear to you that Jessica and Stephan danced the sun away in excited harmony. I couldn't believe that I could work with such bright-eyed clients whose happily ever after was on the horizon.

Engagement Sessions are Priceless

Wedding planning can be a whirlwind. Between choosing vendors, finalizing guest lists, and navigating the ever-growing to-do list, it's easy to lose sight of the true essence of this special time: celebrating your love. This is where engagement sessions come in, offering more than just pretty pictures and offering value that goes far beyond the price tag.

Your engagement session becomes a visual tapestry of your love story. It's not just about posed pictures; it's about capturing your unique personalities, shared passions, and the essence of your connection. Whether it's a playful picnic in a meadow, a romantic stroll on the beach, or an adventurous hike through the mountains like this one, the setting becomes a reflection of your love. These images will become cherished keepsakes, reminding you of the excitement and joy of this special chapter in your life.

Tips for your Dreamy Colorado Session

There is something special about Colorado photography. And I've had the pleasure to get to meet lots of new people all over the country to come to this beautiful mountain range. Here is some advice to help you plan your lovely session.

  • Plan your timing: Golden hour, the hour before sunset, offers the best light. Consider the time of year and the park's operating hours when choosing your date, too.
  • Choose your location: With diverse landscapes, Rocky Mountain National Park offers endless options, but so does Estes Park in general! We can put those hiking boots to the test.
  • Hire a local photographer: Familiar with the park and its nuances, they can help you capture the perfect shots and navigate the terrain.
  • Embrace the adventure: Be prepared for changing weather and unexpected detours. Embrace the spontaneity - it might lead to even moments you haven't dreamed of!
  • Most importantly, let your love shine: This is about celebrating your connection, not just getting perfect photos. Relax, be yourselves, and enjoy the moment!

Remember: Permits are required for photography within the park. Be respectful of the environment and fellow visitors. Leave no trace and follow park regulations.

May your own love story unfold amidst the magic of the mountains, bathed in the golden glow of forever.
